COLOR CORRECTION AT KEN PAVES SALON

The two and a half hour class at the Ken Paves Salon was solely theory covering the topic Corrective Color. Color correction is very involved and many Colorists are intimidated at the entire process.  Rightfully so, as removing artificial color is one of the most problematic tasks a Hair Colorist is faced with.  Over the counter Hair Colors, Hennas, Vegetable dyes and even Professional Hair Color are meant to remain in the hair so removing it, requires a skillful and detailed oriented Hair Colorist.  There are many variables that are to be considered when lifting out previous hair color such as hair texture, condition, porosity, previous product used, and overall hair history.

The class objective is to provide the Colorists with the information needed to perform successful Color Corrections. The step-by-step guide is a road map to ensure predicable and consistent Hair Color results.

By the end of the class, Colorists have the confidence and knowledge to attack any Color Correction weather the client did the Color did herself or another professional performed.
